Co-Owner & Trainer
Ryan Parzick is the Co-Owner of Fuerte Fitness and the day-to-day operator of the business. Ryan is a life-long athlete, a 4-year varsity college football player, and a dad to two sporty kids. Ryan is passionate about overall wellness, including the benefits of a nutritious diet and well-rounded exercise routine. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ryan's zeal for a healthy lifestyle prompted he and his wife to start Fuerte Fitness in order to help others on their journey to wellness.
Romy Parzick is the Founder & Co-Owner of Fuerte Fitness. As a life-long athlete and 4-year collegiate soccer player, one of her primary passions is community-building through sports and group fitness. She is a high-energy instructor who loves to support people of all fitness levels. She is certified in Barre, Piloxing Barre, and Zumba. She works full-time in downtown Austin as a financial services executive, where in 2017 she was named a finalist by Austin's Under Forty in the Financial and Insurance Services group.
Adrien was born and raised in the south of France. After spending the entirety of his first 20 years of life in France, he decided to save his money, and use it to travel the world. It was his passion to learn/see different cultures, beliefs, and lifestyles. At the beginning of his early twenties, he gradually became fascinated in health and fitness. Very quickly, he realized that he wanted to pursue a life helping others take control of their health
After travelling through parts of Europe and Asia, he decided to settle in Australia. There, he enrolled in a personal training course at Endeaver (F.I.A. Fitnation) College of Natural Health in Sydney. After he earned his certificate in fitness and group training, Adrien and his wife then decided to journey back to her home state of Texas. Here, Adrien studied and received his NASM certificate in personal training and fitness.
His training style is based off of using body weight, with the occasional heavy lifting. His goal with these types of workouts is to allow room for creativity, flexibility, & less injuries that will maintain a lean and healthy physique. While leading these functional exercises, his focus is on balance, a strong core, and correct posture. Sounds like a Fuerte match!
Anthony is a NASM certified personal trainer, as well as a local musician. Though an Art Institute of California alumni, fitness has actually played a more positive role in his life for the majority of his days.
Anthony is originally from Monroe, LA, but ran his first steps in a pair of football cleats in Dallas, TX after his parents moved him there. Since then, he has remained involved in some sort of sport or fitness related activity. In addition to football, Anthony has been a basketball player, run track, and been a consistent martial arts practitioner. Focusing mostly on weight lifting and the sweet science, Anthony also trains bar calisthenics when he can. Is there anything he doesn’t do?
Anthony is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. His primary goal is to make people as comfortable in their own skin as possible and has found fitness to be a wonderful tool for achieving that.
Brittany is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), Peer Recovery Coach, and Motivational Speaker. She is originally from Philadelphia, PA but has been in Austin since 2015.
Brittany's background includes Power Lifting, Olympic Lifting, Agility & Sprint training, and a lifetime basketball career that included playing for University of the Sciences of Philadelphia.
Brittany uses her past experiences to show clients what it means to overcome struggles through persistence and never giving up on oneself. Additionally, she has a soft spot for kids and is running our Fuerte Fit Kids' program, where she uses her expertise to teach children the importance of quickness, agility, and overall fitness.
Carrie holds a degree in exercise science/ sports management with a minor in business from the University of Kansas. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with 12 plus years of coaching, managing, and consulting for gyms and studios. She approaches every workout with the goal of her clients achieving life-long fitness and reaching goals that can be maintained for the rest of their lives. Her specialties include bootcamps, cardio agility, aqua, and functional fitness classes.
On a personal note, Carrie grew up in New Jersey playing soccer, running track, and competing in gymnastics. At the University of Kansas she was Coach/Vice President and Captain of her college club soccer team. She makes an active choice to make workouts part of her daily routine to ensure she can do everyday activities like hiking and biking with friends and family. Her goal is to stay healthy for herself and her loved ones.
Piloxing & Zumba Instructor
Born and raised in Mexico, Dely has been committed to a healthy lifestyle and exercise for as long as she can remember. Her passion for exercise started at a young age when her dance instructor asked her to teach the class. Her calling, as she describes it, is to “help students achieve their personal health and fitness goals."
Since moving to Austin in 2005, Dely has participated in all forms of fitness and training programs. She realized not all programs are created equal. Depending on one's overall wellness goals, some programs are more beneficial than others. She fell in love with Piloxing because the exercise format blends boxing, Pilates, and dance into a 45 minute to one-hour format to create a strong and lean body that is well balanced and coordinated. Dely is one of Austin’s few Elite Star instructors for Piloxing. She is also a certified instructor for Piloxing Knockout, Piloxing Barre, and Strong by Zumba.
Emily has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. She discovered Forrest Yoga in 2012, and was drawn to the healing aspects of the practice, as well as the emphasis on staying in the present moment and feeling into the body. Through teaching yoga, Emily hopes to inspire her students to have a transformative experience both on and off the mat.
Appropriate for all levels, Emily’s classes stress a connection to the body, and focus on breath work, strength, and stability. Expect a balance of intensity infused with moments of light-heartedness and fun.
Emily is a certified 200-hour RYT through the Austin School of Yoga, and has completed the Advanced Forrest Yoga Teacher Training.
Fedora is a Forrest, Yin and Yoga Nidra teacher who believes in the benefits of yoga for mental, emotional, and physical health. She is a master level social worker and public policy professional with experience in child and family policy, trauma and mental health, and the social determinants of health. She has worked in child welfare, family violence, and health and human services systems and is the Southern Regional Director for Young Invincibles, a national nonprofit committed to amplifying the voices of young adults, ages 18-34.
Fedora completed her 200 hour teacher training with Ana Forrest and her Level 1 iRest® Yoga Nidra training through the Integrative Restoration Institute. She completed Yin Yoga specializations with Heather Tiddens and Iva Dritina-Hall. Fedora completed her 300 hour training at Practice Yoga Austin with Gioconda Parker, Iva Dritina-Hall, Shanti Kelley, Kiely Wolters, Shawn Kent, and Jenn Wooten. Fedora draws upon her professional experience and yoga training to create a supportive, safe, compassionate, and empowering space for students to learn, heal and grow.
Stacie's passion is developing "whole-hearted fitness" in herself and her clients. She defines whole-hearted fitness as a lifestyle that is balanced, sustainable, self-compassionate, and cultivates freedom through a healthy body, healthy mind, and healthy spirit.
Stacie says that seeking whole-hearted fitness has been a long and winding road for her (one she is still on) that is marked by both successes and failures. She hopped on the diet and exercise roller-coaster as a kid trying to fit into the "right" body type, and was full-throttle enthusiast for the low-fat, high-cardio craze of the 80's and 90's. By the time she finished college, she was burnt out, overweight, and sick. With 50-plus pounds to lose, she decided to forget the trends, put down the Snackwells, and really learn the science of fitness and nutrition.
For the past 15 years, Stacie has done just that - devoting herself to learning a little bit more and doing a little bit better every day. She learned to value progress over perfection as she worked toward her goal of increased health and freedom. And now, she absolutely loves sharing all she has learned with her clients so they can also enjoy that freedom as well!
Stacie is a Certified Personal Trainer, a Pilates Method Instructor, Nutrition Coach, and a Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, PMA, PN). In addition to teaching and training, she loves hanging out in her backyard with her husband and three children in East Austin.
Zach is a certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine and holds a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Health Education from the University of Texas. Originally from Wisconsin, Zach fell in love with running in high school; he went on to explore other areas of fitness while earning his undergrad degree in exercise science. Since moving to Austin in 2016, Zach has earned his Masters degree and worked in various health and wellness related positions with corporate, student, and general populations. Zach is passionate about behavior change and helping others identify and overcome barriers they have to leading healthier lifestyles.
Zach loves challenging, high intensity workouts that incorporate agility and strength training while ensuring your heart rate stays elevated throughout the entire session. In his spare time, you can find him trying new food/drinks around town with his friends, running, swimming and playing volleyball, and hanging out at Zilker with his boston terrier Ernie.
